Akron Clement Gets the Cycle
At Ballpark of Huntington Beach today <Bill Clement:player#7588> led <Akron:team#101> to a 7-1 victory over the Drummers by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's most difficult feats.

The Pickets center fielder told reporters after the game, "Most people think the triple is the hardest one to get, but today, it was the homer... because the ball wasn't carrying. When I took it deep, I expected the ball to die on the warning track. Seeing the umpire give me the signal to circle the bases was sweet."

In addition to going 4-5, <Clement:player#7588> chalked up 1 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance.

<Bill Clement:player#7588> doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off <José García:player#5163> in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
